Peaches needs your help. She is five years old and blind. Her blindness came over the course of her five years but during that time she had her dog companions as friends to help her through her blindness. Unfortunately the humans caring for Peaches fell on hard times and lost everything. They moved into their travel trailer with the dogs and are moving cross country and will camp along the way. This was not a good solution for Peaches. Her owner was about to make the hard decision to end Peaches life since she could not find a friend or family member to take her but Palmetto Animal League did not want her to have to make that choice. Peaches is very healthy and needs a cat friendly dog to take the place of her companions. Once she adjusts to this new life and new suroundings she can be a very happy cat and live a very long life. Please make Peaches your new companion as soon as possible. Call Palmetto Animal League at 843-227-2691 or email director@palmettoanimalleague.org.
